Arriving in Hanoi, Vietnam, brought back many memories. As we visited homes where many individuals are affected and infected with HIV, I couldn't help but become teary-eyed as I heard their ongoing struggles to find jobs and be accepted by friends and family.
We also visited several rehabilitation centers for former drug addicts. I felt truly blessed to hear testimonies of individuals who, after 10-20 years of drug addiction, had recovered and restored their relationship with their families. They found hope in Jesus through those who chose to love and help them.
Additionally, we visted a facility where 20-30 children are all infected with HIV. We shared encouraging words, gave them toys and candies, and provided some financial assistance.
